Reflection: A Day in the Life of an RT
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Mahatma Gandhi. The health care profession is a noble profession, there is something honorary about serving people at a time they are in the most need. Providing them with quality help is doing our job, but to the patient and the family receiving our help, we are known as the life savers. The amount of gratitude and appreciation in most situations are very rewarding. That is just one of the many reasons we as professionals choose the health care profession, but here are some other reasons why working in healthcare make it a good career choice.
Moreover, job security is outstanding, working conditions and employee benefits, steady earnings, advancement, and a stimulating rapid work environment are all reasons to work in the health care setting.
