4.7 I think that the strategeis used amongst all different populations of kids is pretty consistent. I think that when a teacher acknowledges the differences in children it allows them to become close and bond. If a teacher and student don't have this relationship i think it can make things very difficult. Teachers help all sorts of students meet their goals and academic needs by giving them confindence and a chance. All students need to be treated equally and given the sam oppurtinites no matter the circumstances.
4.8 I assicoated the easier and more home based activites for females and the out doorsy, compitition based, and more skill required activities for the guys. Based on the assumptions I made about the different activites from this

No two students will learn the same, act the same, or think the same. I shouldn’t say or have the mindset that one student is more “normal” than other just because of their grade or actions, and I want to be able to practice this in my classroom, teaching my student’s the same way. Especially for students with disabilities, we shouldn’t define them as “different” or “unable” just because of this label. This doesn’t change my teaching philosophy that all students should have the opportunity to leave better than they came- it only enhances it.…

After today’s class discussion, I was able to learn new and different ways to take data. It was interesting to see how similar and different recording data can be depending on the goal and disorder. For example, last semester I did not find it as hard to track data for my accent modification client. However, this semester I have changed the way I keep track of data during sessions. My client is working on basic age appropriate sounds mainly because she exhibits a lot of phonological processes.…

1.2 Evaluate own strengths and weaknesses in relation to supporting learning activities and how these may impact on support that can be provided. Our strengths and weaknesses plays a great role in relation to supporting the different types of learning activity in schools. Using our strengths we need to focuses on doing more of “what you are good at rather than what you are” (http://www.kent.ac.uk) capable of doing. Usually high achievers spend their time and hard work in developing their strength to achieve the goal and managing their weaknesses. Over this semester I think one of the most eye opening things we talked about was how women were uneducated but were the primary educators. This is crazy for me to think about, because they were expected to teach the children about everything that was going on. This also shows how much education has evolved since then. I think that it is our responsibility as teachers to the students to teach them about the issues, this can mean using other sources besides the textbook to teach the students. There are certain chunks of our history as a country that is left out in many textbooks, they try to make it seem like they are less terrible that how they really are.…

Seven Habits This interactive video describes the 7 caring and deadly habits proposed by William Glasser, an American psychologist, who believe that students have needs and motives; therefore, the student should accept responsibility for own behavior. Glasser believes that human beings should take responsibility for the consequences of their choices instead of blaming other human beings. In the classroom, the relationship happens between the educator and the student. Teachers’ ability to communicate effectively with the students should depend on the elimination of the seven deadly habits; criticizing, blaming, complaining, nagging, threatening, punishing, and rewarding students.…

The concepts delivered throughout the management problem-solving course have provided me with valuable simulated real-life experiences which can be applied in my everyday work life as a HR Administrator with aspirations of progressing my career. The course delivery was such that as a student, I was able to use my existing knowledge and skills, in addition to that of my peers, to analyse and explore complex organisational problems. This course has challenged the way I think and deepened my understanding of the problem-solving process, which has enabled me to perceive issues from new perspectives, I once would not have considered. Additionally, it has also allowed me to make explicit and authentic connections between the course content and my…

Observation: As part of my research paper for three days I observed an inclusive classroom for two hours each day. During this time I was able to see how the general education teacher handles real life teaching situations in a classroom that has students with different abilities and six whom have IEP’s for numerous reasons such as emotional disorders. During my observation I took notes on both the students behavior and the strategies implemented by the teacher. The observation helped me to further evaluate the importance of inclusive classrooms and the influence an educator has on these students.…

I could care less about any of that, I am there to teach these children and guide them to their passion so that they can be successful in…
