As a Substitute Teacher, I have working knowledge of classroom management for grades K-12, along with the ability to teach different subject matters to students of all ages and grade levels. As an experienced Correctional Officer, I tackle the challenges of bully prevention on a day to day basis. I have been trained in behavior management and conflict resolution and use it to help lower the amount of aggressive incidents in my housing unit. I have one year of Graduate Studies (Nonprofit Management), while working on a research topic of reducing the recidivism rate of juveniles in Virginia I came across your organization. The programs offered at Challenge Discovery Project target several programs identified with juvenile incarceration.
