Playing in the schoolyard sandbox sat two little girls; one with raven-black hair and forest green eyes and the other with hair as red as blood and irises that resembled the dark night sky. The redhead was dressed fairly odd for a month of early spring, as she was wearing a witch costume and holding a broom as if it were Halloween. The raveonette didn’t seem to mind at all but couldn’t help but wonder why the redhead wasn’t wearing a school uniform like she and the other girls were forced to wear.

The raveonette was about to ask how she had managed to get out of wearing the bland dress when the teacher, Ms.Giddman, called the students back inside for another lesson. The raveonette got up as her eyes met pitch black in confusion on why the redhead had not gotten up from her spot on the ground. “No, let's continue! More candy, more candy!”, Ray giggled to her friend’s parents, who stared at her with soft, loving eyes. “Alright, there’s my little huntress! We’ll go to the houses across the street then circle back over here!”, a woman with long, wavy blonde hair and black eyes, who Ray assumed was Diane’s mother, said happily to her supposed-to-be daughter’s grinning face. Ray and Diane’s parents started walking across the road when a car came into Ray’s view. She looked back ahead of her and kept walking with her friend’s parents, but she couldn’t help but feel that something was off about that car. She brushed it off until she heard Mrs.Olsen gasp and Ray was pushed to the hard concrete of the road. When Ray looked back at her dear friend’s parents, they had been hit by the full force of the car and immediately fell to the ground. Mrs.Olsen laid there with the weakest of motion while Mr.Olsen struggled to crawl to his precious wife’s aid but collapsed
