In the highly entertaining film O Brother, Where Art Thou, the theme of redemption is largely represented through the actions of Ulysses, Pete, and Delmar. Running from the law, the three fugitives actively attempt to redeem themselves from their past choices and escape to new, happier lives. Firstly, Ulysses leads the trio to seemingly find lost treasure, but actually to reunite with his former wife.
