Red Robin Priming Theory

The Primary theory is a concept that explains how people respond after being exposed to messages that trigger or activate thoughts previously stored in the mind. The theory further explains that when an individual is exposed to that intermediate message, they will think about the content related thoughts that have been stimulated as a result of the exposure.

The theory is used to evaluate how much the media affects people. Today the world is greatly influenced by the media, its effects are very important that the researches are carried out by applying the priming theory so as to understand how much impact do TV shows and programs have on viewers.

The Red Robin commercial is a good example of how the priming theory can have effects on individuals.
