Red meat refers to beef, pork, as well as mutton and lamb. On the other hand, white meat is chicken, and fish. It has been depicted that red meat tends to have negative effects on the human body, such as increasing the risk of certain types of cancers as well as hypertension. Hypertension refers to high blood pressure, which in turn can be said to have extremely negative effects on the body, as it puts the person at risk of getting a heart disease and stroke. There are several factors that tend to contribute to a person having high blood pressure and that includes smoking, being overweight and obese, not exercising regular, as well as being stressed. All of these factors have been known to cause hypertension. Yet, one of the most controversial things that can be said to contribute to high blood pressure is red meat.
