For five years the Californian band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, have neither released an album nor a single. That is why his eleventh studio album, The Gataway, was greatly acclaim by their fans. The release of this album is accompanied by a world tour which is still on going. The tour arrived at Spain last September obtaining a sell out of tikets in all of their concerts. Fortunately, I got a ticket to their live concert in Madrid.
Overall, they gave a brilliant performance. The atmosphere created by both, the artists and the audience, was the most outstanding part of the concert. The band was very energetic despite of being performing for hours. They played the new hits in the album as well as some of their classic tunes, which was greatly applauded
