S.E Hinton wrote the outsiders when she was in high school and did not plan to publish the story. Since then it has been made into a book and a movie. I think the book was bad because it did not give the effects that the movie did. I liked the movie because it had more of the story put into it detail wise. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story.…

ANSWER THROUGH THE DOGS “Man’s best friend” and “Loyal ‘til the end” are very well-known phrases. They are very true to describe most dogs, specifically two redbone hounds that I have read about. Little Ann and Old Dan are both heroically presented in both the book, “Where the Red Fern Grows” and its film adaptation. After reading and viewing both portrayals of this wonderful story, I have come to the conclusion that Ann and Dan are superb.…

This would be the theme because he thought he could not get the dogs because his parents or himself would not be able to afford to care for them but he end he ended up getting the dogs with his grandpa. First the scene where he and his grandpa worked very hard for $50 (really $500) for the dogs it shows the theme because hard work pays off he got the dogs by working for all the money he never ever thought he could make that much money Another reason it the theme is shown is when Billy’s dogs sacrifice their lives in the hunting competition they were frozen solid but hard work pays off because they won the competition and got the $300 for a new house near the city so his dad, billy, and his dogs won't have to do back-breaking work just for food and his dad can get a job also billy and his sisters can go to school.…

Maximal nutrition: the Birds Nest Fern has developed a bucket or nest in the centre, where its spongy root system is located. Rain water falls and is directly caught and soaked up by the root system. The long leathery fronds radiate from this centre nest and act not only as funnels to deliver further caught rain water but also their leathery texture discourages moisture loss from the plant. The long, wide leaves of the Birds Nest Fern also assist the plant by catching dead falling leaves, often from its host tree, but also other rainforest litter and acting as a shelf to hold these leaves as they begin to rot. This litter is then funnelled to the ‘nest’ or held there until the leaf dies and curls back on itself, again ultimately delivering the litter to the root system.…
