Red Convertible Lyman Character

Lyman, the character in “Red convertible”, impressed me most. Lyman really enjoys the happy times he had with his brother, Henry. He thought everything would be same after his brother back. However, the war totally changed Henry; he is not the same Henry anymore. I think Lyman is innocent and naive. He may dream a new trip with Henry after Henry back, so he keeps the car in good shape as if the relationship between he and Henry were still in good shape. After he realized Henry was changed, he didn’t give up. He made the car looks like beat up and hopes Henry would crazy for repair the car. Conversely, Henry still looks normal and repairing the car slowly.
