Despite the sharp pain in my left cheek, I joined the giggles made by the child before hoisting myself up and taking the toy in my hand.
“I can play, only if you finished your homework.” Her smiling face turned sour, crossing her arms in defiance before giving in and marching her way inside her home. Not long after, she was walking back out, scribbling down on her slightly crumpled notebook before closing it shut and running towards me.
“Mira, yo termino.” “Look, I finished.” Suspicious, I stuck my hand out to take her notebook, watching for a devious look or lurking smirk on her face. However, I was met with none and when I did peel the book open, all her math work was done.

My love for cultural diversity and my ambition to dedicate my service to others will be greatly fulfilled at this campus, which is conveniently located in the heart of the United States, one of the top nations in the world. The pre-medical program has proven to provide their students the information and confidence to complete future medical situations (not to mention a chance to work with the EMS in Washington D.C.) and its study abroad program will allow me to travel to Latin American countries where I can display my talent in teaching and/or medical treatment for children who do not have the same opportunities or resources as we
