It may be easy for people to just recycle the appropriate materials, but some people are lazy and create more waste than they should, making it harder for the people at the recycling companies to do their job. Recycling helps us realize what people throw away can be reused again and again. Recycling should be mandatory because it will save energy, reduce landfills, and protect the environment.
