If the world did not reuse materials which could be reused, it would eventually develop a shortage of raw materials. Taking the example of paper, it can be imagined that if the paper were not recycled, there would be an acute shortage of trees since they are the raw material. Without trees, the environment would be in shambles, because they keep the air clean, they preserve the delicate balance of the air, and they add to the aesthetic beauty of the earth (RecyclingGuide). Dumping trash in landfills and leaving it to rot is only spoils the environment and makes it unbearable and unappealing. If waste is recycled, it will preserve the earth’s natural assets along with the beauty of the environment which is spoiled by trash and waste
