Sometimes power and privilege of a particular class of people in the organization are not easily recognizable They remain in a subtle form and are not expressed in clear terms. When the privilege is with ourselves, we may not feel anything but while it is with the others, We feel infuriated. For example, as a White American person if I go to a restaurant with one of by African American friend, it is most likely that the waiter, at the end of the meal being taken, furnishes the bill to me and not to my friend. In this situation, I would be treated by the waiter as privileged for my skin color and race.
