Recovering Dead Soldiers In The Vietnam War

In 1871 was the first time they stated to bring the dead confederate soldiers back to their home. The soldiers were transported in trains to their home state. The family's of dead soldiers would have to travel to recover the soldier. Recovering dead soldiers is very expensive and many family's could not afford it. In 1864 family's were allowed to enter the battlefield to search for there loved ones to bring them home and have a burial.
