Reconciling: Case Study

Thursday from after school until 8:00 p.m. Mr. DeSimone reported that the parents were working on reconciling. In 2011, they stopped the litigation and in 2012, they moved into a one bedroom apartment together. The father reported that he continued to work nights. He stated that the mother would care for the children while he was working. He indicated when he was not working both parents would care for the children.

Mr. DeSimone reported that Ms. DeSimone continued to “collect child support” even though the parents were living together. He indicated that this added stress on the relationship. The father stated that parent often argued over this, there were times when the children were present during arguments.
