William Shakespeare’s classic tale “Romeo and Juliet” offers sage incite into the minds of today’s teenagers. The story is about a couple, Romeo and Juliet, who meet, marry, and commit suicide within a week. Character’s actions in the story can be described as impulsive and in some cases absolutely reckless. The article “Beautiful Brains” by Adriana Galván provides insight into the characters, who are mostly teenagers like the article is based on, thought processes and why they made all the reckless decisions they did. Within Act III of William Shakespeare’s play many of the characters make impulsive decisions with sometimes disastrous consequences. In scene Ⅰ , Tybalt challenges Romeo,“Thou, wretched boy, that didst consort him here, Shalt with him hence”(Shakespeare 429). According to the article,“Beautiful Brains” the author says

Probably one of the most foolish was Romeo’s decision to commit suicide in Juliet’s tomb,”The doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss A dateless bargain to engrossing death! This shows that because of Romeo is a teenager, he completely overreacts to her death. Romeo,s underdeveloped brain was what made this play end in tragedy.
