Another aspect was to see what change need to be made to the event to make it successful and a clear impact on recidivism. The first thing was to see what the demographics of parolee population that was attending were the Summit of Hope. The average age is 34 year old, 84.7% are males and 15.3% are Female, the average marital status is single, the 82.7 had children. Education was another view, average grade completion was 7th grade, and 22.5% had completed their GED, while another 21.75% had a high school Diploma. Still 62% of the Parolee had interested in attending college.
