Recess In Middle School

Many people have many different outlooks on whether or not there should be time made for recess in middle school. In my outlook, I think there shouldn’t be time for recess. Why I think this is because Middle school is an upgrade from elementary that is suppose to teach you the responsibilities of being able to have more time for class and to learn to not act childish and take things seriously. And having recess in middle school is not taking things seriously, and 12-14 year olds (7th graders) should not have to have recess any more.

There are a few reasons as to why I think there shouldn’t be recess in middle school. The first reason is our class time would be shorter and we wouldn’t be able to get as much done. School is very important because if it wasn’t for

But in 5th grade they teach you that in middle school it won’t be the same cause you have more responsibilities so they try to teach you how to behave since you don’t have recess. But middle school is an upgrade and it teaches you that you don’t have to have recess in order to have fun at school. Recess is for little kids, and when you get to middle school you’re a big kid now. So we don’t need recess.

Recess in middle school is very childish because when you get to middle school everything changes. Your responsibilities and you learn that you need to start taking your work seriously. We should be able to have more class time to get work done that we need in our future life then to have time wasted due to recess. Many people have different opinions on whether or not middle schoolers should have recess. And my opinion is no just because we are not little kids anymore and we should start taking things seriously and not being as
