The series of the Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins is a new world not like ours. It's a country called Panem with a bunch of Districts surrounding the Capital were the president lives. The Capital is the government which is in control of all, almost like a communist country. In Panem the Hunger games are way to entertain the citizens who live in the capital. The capital uses the hunger games to strike fear in the districts to restore order. Each District has limited resources, which has them all struggling to survive. They all stay and follow orders because the Capital with either punished them or kill them. The Districts live in fear and are trying to hold on to a little piece of hope to keep them going on with their lives and hope

Katniss hates the capital with a passion and she doesn't know it but She gave people hope in a revolution by being who she was in the Games and not doing what the capital wanted her to do. She does not realize that she is the Mockingjay painted on the walls and in the streets. She symbolizes the Mockingjay and its rebellion. Plutarch the Head Game maker was even influenced by Katniss. That's why he saved her to form a rebellion and have her be the face of the rebellion“ we had to save you because you’re the Mockingjay, Katniss”( pg. 373 Catching Fire). If she influenced the Head Game make she can in light a whole district to join the rebellion. Katniss is the symbol of the rebellion, hope and faith. The way she and the Mockyingjay symbol is represented in the real world is Jesus Christ. He is love, Faith and hope. He is a way of life and if you follow him through the darkness you will find light. The way it is seen is the Districts are sinners and religion is way to show some type of path to follow to a better life. Not comparing Katniss to a God but as a role model, but first the people of Panem need to find out who they are and what they want to strive on what is being placed right in front of them. Just like Peeta and Katniss were the last ones in the hunger games as they show that the capital does not own them and as they were seconds away from eating poison berries the capital announces them as
