Rebellion In George Orwell's Animal Farm

In Animal Farm by George Orwell, farmyard pigs lead a rebellion. In the beginning, a large groups of animals are getting upset with their owners. The animals are underfed, maltreated, and the people are exploiting their products. Major, a white boar, does not believe that humans should benefit from the animals losses. Major then has an epiphany and tells the animals that they need to rebel against the owners. As a result, the animals are lead into a rebellion by a few farmyard pigs. After the rebellion starts, the farm animals begin their new society. The animals choose to follow their newly made commandments and their new law called Animalism. All the animals live by the saying, “four legs good, two legs bad.” It is said that no animal should harm another animal without a good reason. However, a few of the pigs have a disagreement on what their top priority is. Napoleon, a pig, says that the animals need to focus on producing food. On the other hand, Snowball thinks that making a windmill to produce electricity is more important. This altercation leads the animals to choose sides.
