Valerie is a 14-year-old freshman at Samueli academy. She wears glasses has light brown hair and eyes with the height of 5’4. She joined journalism to get more involved and to let people know what's going on throughout the school. She loves shopping for shoes and food. Her favorite type of food is from taco bell and pizza. She loves her family which includes her dog Duffy. Although she loves food she hates tomatoes pickles and avocado. When i asked her who would she have play her in a movie about her life she chose Rebel Wilson due to their personality which is outgoing loud and certainly not shy.

    She was strong and loyal to her friend and her family (despite what had happened to her while she was with her mother). I think one of the things I loved the most about her was how realistic her grief was. Sure, there was hate towards her mother for doing what she did – but it never took over and she still felt grief.
