Having less days in school would have less driving from parents and teachers. My Grandpa said that say ‘’if you had a bus it would be cheaper on the bus because it would be less gas, and it would be better for the buses they wouldn’t be worn down as fast. It would be less for the bus because it is one less day which means one less time to drive to school and drop kids off.” Very rarly parents have to leave work then take the kids home and go back to work then that is a lot of gas the parents have to use to go back and forth. That is what our parents would have to do but then either mom or dad would take us to school then our grandma would pick us up from school. The school would have rising cost, electricity bills, the schools budget, etc. Also for the schools sake, what about rising costs, electricity bill, utilities, or even running out of money for the whole year. My second to last point is that what about scheduling options, babysitters, day care, and parents can’t just drop everything to watch their kids, they have jobs too. My last major reasoning would be that students need to be out, and enjoying the nice air, they all need to be able to just get out, play with other kids, and enjoy the nice days that we have in the summer. We all enjoy our summers away from school, there is no reason that we should be in school every week, of every year.…

We could do the assignments that would have been sent home for homework on the extra day of school. Then we would not have to spend any of our free time working on school projects and would still have evenings and Sundays to spend with family or on activities we like outside of school. Children in other countries like Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong are much smarter because they spend more time on their education and spend more time in school. School also gives children from abusive and neglectful families a chance to go somewhere that they feel safe, are offered breakfast and lunch and given chances to talk to people that can help them.…

Finding new ways to persuade students to be present to class is vital for the administration. Eliminating one day per week could be enough to motivate the students to attend class more frequently. As a consequence to this solution, the attendance policy would be more strict, fewer days would be allowed to miss, and classes would be longer. Every class Monday-Thursday would be an hour and thirty minutes long, instead of having fifty minute classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and an hour and a half classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Nevertheless, with a four-day school week, students would be able to fit more activities in on their three day break for friends and family, relaxation, and job responsibilities.…
