Drivers in Mississippi should not be permitted to use cell phones while driving Mississippi drivers should not be permitted to use any cell phones while they are driving. There are multiple reasons why people in Mississippi should not use cell phones while driving. It can cause fatalities, can be considered distracted and drunk driving. People who multitask think that they can do it all the time but that is not true. Talking on the phone, texting while driving and many other things are reasons why people have wrecks. There are many stories that agree with this. One of the one being a story about a young man who ran through a red light because he was texting while driving. (source) This lead to the death of a woman by the name of Linda Doyle. (source) When the young man had been questioned about seeing the light his response was he never saw it. (source)The young man had been on his phone for less than one minute and killed a woman. (source) When someone are drunk and driving they don’t notice much. Those reasons can be explained in many different ways. Many people would disagree with this because they are addicted to their cellphones but yet much of this is true. Cellphones are the main issue of todays society. Rules are being enforced on people of today because hey decide to use cellphones while driving. Though they may not mean to injure or kill someone they can do it without even noticing it. Many accidents happen because of distractions on the road. Many people are trying to come up with better ways so that using cellphones will become easier while driving. That doesn’t mean that it will become safer. It just means that they are trying to make it better. Yes, some accidents will happen but they will become less likely to occur. Drivers should be more carful on the road as it is. Cell phones is a dangerous part of the world today and that is what people fail to realize. Yeah phones are helping us with the future, but is it really the right way to go. These issues can be resolved in many different ways. It can also be attempted to be stopped in several different ways. So whether people know it or not, cellphone usage on the road is not the only thing that is dangerous but, it is one of the most common.
