The magic, cast members, and entertainment such as rides, parades and shows offer an experience that is worth people’s time and money. Many people in today’s society take a trip to a Disney resort for many reasons. One of the most important reasons is because of its magic. What about Disney makes it so magical? What makes it an experience that is worth time and money? There are many things on Disney property that make it so magical and popular around the globe including the workers, entertainment, and characters, that make people want to go there.
On December 5th, 1901, Walt Disney was born in Chicago, Illinois (“Walt Disney” 1). Ever since Walt was little, he always had an interest in art. Since he loved art so much, he actually sold his artwork to make a little extra cash (1). He also studied art and photography (1). Later on Walt joined the Red Cross and went overseas to France (1). After returning, he began a career in commercial art (1). After creating, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full length film, Walt continued to create other classics like Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and Bambi (1). After creating some of his first movies, Walt had an idea to build a place where parents could go to have fun with their children (“Disneyland History 1). The more that he thought about this “place”, the more complex it became (1). Eventually, in 1953, Walt had the Stanford Research Institute look for land just outside of Los Angeles (1).
