There are many qualities of a leader that I currently have. I am excellent under stress, charismatic, caring, confident, and I command the respect of others. My hope is that the Air Force will help me further develop, define, and ultimately improve these characteristics. More importantly, I am optimistic that the Air Force will help me find within myself characteristics I have yet to develop. Now, however, I am being exposed to a different type of problem; more complex problems that impact more people and have much further reaching consequences. I look forward to enhancing my problem solving skills to meet these challenges through Air Force Officer Training Corps. I hope to be guided by cadets and Profession Officer Course cadre on the process of eliminating the wrong path to solving a problem and how to do so quickly.
I trust Air Force Officer Training Corps will push me physically and mentally through the program I have joined called the Battle Airman Challenge. Within this program I anticipate learning how to push my body past its barriers mentally and physically. The Battle Airman Challenge has taught me that pain is just a mindset that will hold you back if you let it do so. I can only hope the Battle Airman Challenge continues to push me past my limits so that I can prepare my body and mind for any possible situations the Air Force will
