Pursue A Career In The Military

Work is fulfilling when you do something meaningful that you enjoy. Unfortunately, many people have to do jobs they do not really like. That is why some people believe that they can prepare for a better career by serving in the U.S. Military. A career in the U.S .Military is often considered to be good, meaningful, and fulfilling. For this reason, recruiters go to different schools to convince high school and college students to join the U.S .Military. However, as far as I am concerned, I would not pursue a career in the U.S. Military because the U.S .Military takes most of your civil rights, you can be killed or permanently injured, and women are harassed and sexually assaulted.
One reason that I would not pursue a career in the U.S. Military is because people lose most of their civil rights. According to the movie “Full Metal Jacket”, you are losing your civil rights by following all the orders from the commander in the camp of training, and the trainers treat the news soldiers inhumanly. The soldiers become anger and before the end of the training most of them get suicide. .In other words, the news soldier’s do not have the right of free speech. …show more content…
Military because is the best way to serve your country and community. However, I am disagree with this assertion. Undoubtedly, the best way to serve your country is to get a better education that will help you to have a better job. Having an excellent job will make you earn more money and take good care of your family. In addition, you can learn about investment so that you will not depend on the government on your retirement period. You can also sponsored people in your community who want to undertake a business. By doing their own business, they will pay taxes to the State which will help the country to build other infrastructure such as community center, hospital, etc. You can choose to give to the larger charities whatever you can to help those who
