Reasons Essay: Why I Want To Be A Nurse

The reason why I really want to be a nurse is because of my grandma. When I was just four months old my grandma got burned with three degree burns from her stomach the whole way down to her toes because my mom collided with her when she had a hot pan of grease in her hands. The house caught fire and so did they. My grandma for the most part took the brunt of it, but my mom was also burnt pretty bad. She almost died several times when they were doing everything they could to keep her alive. She still has problems from that horrible accident and she has numerous surgeries and skill graphs and all of them came with risks. What I am trying to say that if it wasn’t for the paramedics, the nurses, the fire department, and the surgeons my grandma …show more content…
The way you feel after helping someone is the best feeling in the world. Also you never know when someone might be in the need of help. So being a Nurse would come in handy in the time of need. Also I just love the fast pace moving jobs because I just hate standing around when I could be doing something. Everyday is a different experience which I love. I love when my days are different because you get new experiences and you get the chance to learn new things. Also you would get the opportunity to show off the different skills you have learned. Another reason why I would love this career is that you get to meet new patients almost every day and you get to see them through recovery. Which is something I would absolutely …show more content…
It could help me pay off college debts and help me live a comfortable life. Also it could allow to me inducle on somethings that I really want at that moment and it wouldn’t put me in debt. Overall the salary a nurse makes would help me feel financially stable and help me do things in life that I always wanted to do.
Overall, being a nurse is something I could really see myself doing. Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a nurse because I love helping people. The feeling I get from helping people is the best feeling in the world and it allows me to feel more confident about wanting to be a nurse. In addition to that I love seeing the face people get when I help them. It makes me feel good about myself and my abilities to help people.
