Persuasion theories had been classified into 2 types which are psychological theories and sociological theories. Psychological theories seek to demonstrate how values, attitudes and beliefs are structured and triggered. Meanwhile, sociological theories emphasize on the collaboration of the individual to the others in situations of persuasion (Benjamin, 1997).
