Strategies to help in balancing these two skills would be take a step back evaluate your situations and understand what is happening and why. Before making rash decisions think what the consequence could be with your reasoning. Understand how your emotion is helping or not helping you utilize your reasoning. Take the proper time however long that may be to explore your emotion so that you can be professional about your decision and the reason you made it. These strategies can go for both work lives and professional lives it will make your life easier and make you happier to understand where your emotions are coming
