Reason For Seeking Teaching Credentials

a) Why are you seeking teaching credentials? Why do you feel qualified to teach the subject/grade level of the endorsement you seek? (Approximately 2-3 pages in length)
Education, for as long as I can remember, existed at the center of my life. I come from a family of teachers who rise in the ranks of the education system each day—transforming from teachers to department heads, and soaring into the broader fields of administrative work. While I completed my undergraduate degree, I took a step away from the draw of education. To find success in life, I thought a federal job with great benefits and high pay would bring me happiness. The idea and reality of government office life is not fulfilling enough for me. Being an active participant in the education profession brought so much more satisfaction and happiness to me.

I am seeking teaching credentials because no matter what direction I find myself on at the professional level, I find that this is the area I thrive in at all levels in both my personal and professional life.
Everyone has his or her own niche, or talent, and I am told continuously that mine is working with young people of all ages. The passion and compassion I exhibit and apply to my own knowledge of English studies, makes for a highly qualified English teacher in Secondary Education. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from Longwood University in 2017, and this was one of the greatest decisions I ever
