There people who say that humans do not act ethically like Louie V. Larimer, who has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in business administration, and a Juris doctorate. He claims in his book Ethical Virtuosity: Seven Steps to Help You Discover and Do the Right Thing at the Right Time that "Some people are aware that a particular course of conduct is unethical, but they consciously choose to engage in wrongful behavior " (Larimer). Humans act unethically and ignore any ethics they really had according to Larimer. How can ethics change someone 's reality if they do not even follow their own ethics? Well everyone 's ethics are different from each other. In order to understand how ethics can affect reality, one must understand what are ethics. Well professors at Santa Clara University give a their definition "Ethics has to do with what my feelings tell me is right or wrong" (Velasquez). Going back to interview with Caleb and David Robson where Caleb cannot feel any emotions, yet he is able to live along other humans that do have feelings. More into the interview Robson states that "I meet him through an internet forum for people with “alexithymia” – a kind of emotional “color-blindness” that prevents them from perceiving or expressing the many shades of feeling that normally embellish our lives"(Robson). There are many other people who cannot feel emotions, therefore how can their reality be changed if they do not have emotions. Well emotions are what makes one 's life to be more enriching , but the absences of these emotions does not necessarily mean that their reality cannot be changed. the absences of love and affection are powerful enough to change human 's reality. Kory Floyd, Ph.D., is a professor of health and family communication at Arizona State University and he conduct an experiment and found out that "People with high levels of skin hunger are disadvantaged in multiple ways, compared to those with moderate or low levels. Specifically, compared to people with less skin hunger, people who feel more affection-deprived: are less happy; more lonely; more likely to experience depression and stress; and, in general, in worse health" (Floyd). When a human is missing affection by another human they tend to become depressed. When humans are depressed, they see the world different.
