Reality Check Reflection

My reality check is my regular reflective activities about my actions and inactions during my clinical, academic, and social interactions. I also received numerous feedbacks from my colleagues, patients and families, from my preceptors and management of my placement organizations. Their positive and constructive feedback has helped to shape my practice. My preceptors said I am respectful and compassionate in my interactions with my client. My community placement preceptor said that he admires my flexibility and dynamic therapeutic communication skills for divers’ clients with varied levels of functionality. In other words, I am able to carry out a meaningful conversation with different clients irrespective of their high, medium or low levels of functionality and still achieve my core goal of that encounter. …show more content…
While my team members said that I am resourceful proactive, and a good team player. My family said that I am a patient and resilient fighter.
My current job supervisor called me her emergency live line because I am readily available and willing to assist my team to achieve our goal.
I am also self-conscious of myself conducts towards patient/clients, team members and friends. I am a great listener and have worked toward leaving a lasting impression on anybody that I encountered. With the a continuous reality check, I have continued to advance my experience and practice of utilizing my strength to build and improve on my weakness like focusing on one task at a time instead of multitasking to achieve desired result in a timely
