I think that is narcissistic of the author to think everyone wants to be American. They should be even more proud of their heritage and culture. Also Tyra may not know every race in the world just by looking as someone, but everyone makes mistakes and it would be an impossible task to ask everyone to learn every culture and race on the earth and to be able to get that just from looking at someone is impossible.
