This quote relates to and embodies the theme, “things are not always as they seem”. I think this, because Shakespeare is saying that Banquo is lesser than Macbeth if you think of their ranking in society. In reality Banquo is actually greater because in the long run he will be happier and end up on top. This relates to today's society because people today strive for wealth and being at a higher ranking in society. That's all they worry about , which ends up making them more stressed out and away from their family, whereas some people settle for being in the middle of society. Being in the middle of society results in them being able to see their families more often and having fewer worries, with all this their life in the long run ends up being
