We can say that we live in cultures of technology or technological world. Nations have devised means for the display and encourage their manufacturers and art. In the culture of technology, it has become the ultimate tool within itself. A tool used whereas to achieve political, economic, and social goals. Culture has reduced to an existence only justified to serve external demands today. Art being an expression of societal culture. Value within culture has an interchangeable relationship. Art has been influenced greatly since there has been frequent development in technology such as digital. Innovations or materials have expanded the horizons of creativity for artists. New technology has also reduced the time most artists have to spend on their work, such as Contemporary artist.
Modernism is a term to define a variety of specific artistic and philosophical movements. Modernists distinguished themselves from normal forms of arts and literature. Modern artists felt as if every story that was told was a repeat of itself and does not steer away from romantic literature. The literary allusion in the poem is figurative for the paths we take through life. (ch. 32, p. 6). Regardless of what roads we choose to take, we end up making significant changes in our life experiences. According to the poem "Though as for the passing there; had worn them really about the same, and both that morning equally lay in leaves no step had trodden black". (lines 9-12).
