In today’s world there is more and more individuals that are opening out about their sexuality particularly “coming out of the closet”. With that being said there seems to be more bullying towards these individuals and more headlines in the media about gays and lesbians. I found the article, “Real Men and Pink Suits” an interesting take on the jokes people make towards homosexuals. It may have been easy to say a joke or laugh about the gays and lesbians way back when, but in today’s world this may even cause deadly results. There are too many young children or even adults that commit suicide in the result of being bullied for being gay or lesbian.
