Reagan lived in New York City. She came home from school like any other day but didn’t realize what was going to happen in the next ten hours. While she was at her apartment building she ate, took a shower and went to bed. She always went to bed fairly late, that night she went to bed at 11:57. She turned on her TV and started to hear a strange noise from the apartment a floor down from her. Not thinking she got out of bed, put on her slippers. Walking ever so gently she walked out the door. She went down a flight of steps as the sound got louder and louder.
