I’m not quite understanding of your comment. Are you saying that former Presidents Reagan and Clinton were as vocal against George Dukakis and George W. Bush as Obama is now being against Donald Trump and that there was justification in ’88 and ’00?
I am fairly clear on the aforementioned campaigns and Ronald Reagan stayed out of the ’88 election much to the dismay of George Bush. And Bill Clinton, much to his credit, didn’t get involved with disparaging remarks about George W. Bush.
What I object to is for a sitting President to be as negatively verbal as Obama and staff. A general comment here and there is understandable, but not to the extent that President Obama is now involved. And for those on Quora who say, “he is getting back at”
