One of Brandt’s main ideas “Reading Serves Writing,” brought up an interesting point about the connections between reading and writing. The concept that “reading serves writing,” is a relatable subject and impacts many college students. Whether you are writing an essay or reading endless chapters for a class, reading and writing hold a major role in education. The idea that the two are completely separate entities, is an interesting concept. To me, when I think about writing I think about the yin yang symbol.
