Reading Experience Analysis

Overall my reading experience this year was very productive because I was able to grow as a reader. I have noticed that I have become more insightful and attentive when I read because I have become more able to create post-its that analyzes the text more carefully and thoroughly. I also found it more easier to create post-its because I notice more important plot points and events that directly correlates with important character traits. My favorite literary work throughout the year was “Romeo and Juliet” because it was very dramatic and the plot was very “swingy”. I also enjoyed the play format because it felt more dynamic due better pacing that most other books do not have. It gave me an opportunity to read a piece that reflects my general attitude sometimes. My writing experience this year was very enjoyable because I was able to write fiction throughout the year. However, I specifically like writing in the journals because it was very fun and I was able to create a world with my own characters that interact with each other as I please. I also found that I had significantly grown as a writer because I was more capable of providing examples in a text and giving explanation of how it is relevant. The assignments were quite vigorous because I found that it was hard to manage my time to complete all the assignments, however I was able to pull through. I have noticed that it was easy to fall behind in the class when you do not keep up with the work as I’ve seen other students get caught up in responsibilities. I have also noticed that the assignments were very strict in terms in grading as it is difficult to get full points for most assignments.
