As of today, Reading and Writing has impacted our lives dramatically. Reading impacts many aspects of life: it promotes cognitive function, which helps ward off diseases like Alzheimer 's, enhances knowledge of different topics and reduces stress and anxiety ("How Does Reading Affect Lives?" Reference). Writing helps our memory and helps us to effectively convey memorable information to others via the art of storytelling ("How Does Writing Affect Us?" Lifehack RSS.) Reading and Writing has had a big impact on my life. It wasn’t my best thing to do but I had to do it. When I wrote I found it boring because the topics I would have to write about wasn’t quite interesting. When I read I found it interesting, because I could relate to it and I could read about anything on my mind, whether it be lyrics, a poem, or a story. Learning to Read and Write started when I was young and it is still a learning process for me.
Learning to read and write really started when I was five-years-old. I can recall when I was around that age, my family and I would take road trips to places like Florida, Atlanta, and Chicago. On those trips, I would begin to read the signs and names of food places. I would also read books that my mother would give me. One of those books I recall and relate to the most was (Park, Barbara, and Denise Brunkus. Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder.). I would relate to this because it was a real life scenario that we all have experienced, therefore it caught my attention.…
