Reflective Essay: The Differences Between Reading And Writing

Throughout my life I have been influenced by reading and writing in both good and bad ways. Reading and writing have always been a struggle for me, however through certain children’s books and short stories that I have either read or wrote, I have came to understand the culture of reading and writing and better appreciate everything about it. Today I still do not do much of it but when I do it is more enjoyable and easier for me to understand. When I read it helps me learn and comprehend everything more clearly. With reading and writing there is always a process that one has to go through in order to truly see the joys of which both bring. When I was learning to read I did not enjoy any part of it, but I persevered through the struggles an came out with a better understanding of what it meant to be able too read. Intellectually reading and writing is a magnificent way to enhance your brain and broaden your understanding about the universe. In my life reading has helped me to become the person I am and it has also helped me become a more intellectually, intelligent, individual who can make wise choices and solve problems without aid from others.
