When I first heard about this assignment I had mixed emotions, I felt nervous, anxious and I kept obsessing over who I might have as my mentor. I felt this way because I kept on thinking who is this person I will have as my mentor who will I have to interview. I was stepping out of my comfort zone by talking to someone I never met or knew. My beliefs on reading and writing in the field before I did the interview was that I knew that reading was involved with the interview and writing also but I did not know how much was throughout the career field. At first I was going to interview Jody and Colleen from Cakes a Bloomin who was going to be my mentor and I did not get any responses from Jody or Colleen about the questions I emailed them. So I
