You brought up a strategic resource that is both brilliant and certainly one of the keys to Raytheon's success. As Wheelen et al. (2017) defines as the human asset, these individuals who comprise Raytheon's ranks, their specialized skills, including honorable service to their country, is most definitely an asset (p. 128).

As you mentioned, the individuals being hired by Raytheon are a known-quantity by virtue of having been involved with Raytheon's equipment prior to leaving the military. I too would agree that this is one of Raytheon's more distinctive competencies.
