Overview of the Crank Trilogy The books that I chose to do my report on were the Crank trilogy, Crank, Glass, and Fallout, by Ellen Hopkins. Crank was published in 2004, Glass was published in 2007, and the last book, Fallout came out in 2013. Ellen Hopkins wrote these books when she had a personal experience when her daughter, Kristina, started using "the monster" after she met the wrong person. She wrote the books to help herself understand why her daughter did it, then she realized that other people would relate to it and how many people had the same story.…

    Analysis Of Ray's Story

Ray’s story was a bittersweet read for me, something that I have come to take for granted as an adult, it is the thought that everyone has a happy home and parents. A lot of this stuff brings back memories that I had dealt with a long time ago, through therapy and counseling, haven’t thought about for years, I digress. The delay of telling Ray that there was a couple interested in him, for six months, is a lifetime for a child. Then to dump it on him, the day of, must have caused much unneeded anxiety. Then making him work for weekend visits, again causing unneeded anxiety.…

Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 3:24PM, the viewing of the documentary entitled, “What about Fathers? A Child welfare Documentary: was very informative and motivating for those that are taking upon the role as a father or plan on being in the role as a father, in the future. This video was found very interesting and informative because it entails in details the importance of a father in their child’s life. Like never before, it is very essential that the child’s father is playing his role in the child’s life because the love, guidance, and support a father can have on his child / children is like no other. Parental involvement, which is relating to a father in a child’s life, is likely to help a child become successful, perform well, and become…

Aaron Cole November 20, 2017 Professor Brozgal Paper 2 Murder in Memoriam: Discovery of Truth Taking influence on real historical events, Didier Daeninckx’s prize winning second novel—Murder in Memoriam—crafts the widely known historic reality of the Holocaust with the overlooked tragedy known as the massacre of Algerians on the 17th of October in 1961. The two events are expertly crafted to create a world of universal truth at last acknowledged. Tying these histories together by use of characters, presentation of unknown truth, as well as applying agency to three points of views, Daeninckx works to legitimize the lesser-known events of the Algerians to fully realize the literary purpose of Murder in Memoriam.…

In Black Mirror’s White Christmas, there are many dark moments for Matt, as they’re everywhere throughout the series. John Hamm is playing as Matt in this episode, he is in a situation where by everyone. All forms of communication with anyone would be severed and would make it impossible to communicate with them. For my argument the use of close-up shots of the actor’s faces, the panning long shots of the environment, and the color palette of all the shots portrays Matt’s grim situation.…
