In the movie, San Andreas, Raymond Gaines becomes a hero to many. Raymond Gaines is a helicopter rescue pilot. After a series of massive earthquakes hits Nevada and California the pilot is caught in middle of it. Flying his helicopter he must rescue his ex-wife, Emma, from a fallen building, and then his only daughter, Blake, from drowning. Both were caught up in the enormous quakes in San Francisco. After, all return to get checked out by doctors along with other survivors. Raymond Gaines exemplifies and is a hero. He put his life in danger when he flew a helicopter near a falling building to rescue his ex-wife. Also, when he saved his daughter. Raymond is very courageous, and like other heroes, determined, fearless, and independent. Although,
