I am Raymond Fernandez, preferred to be called Ray, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I now call Hampton, Virginia my home after my retirement from US Army in October 2009. I served in the US Army for 27 years as an Intelligence Analyst which afforded me the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world. I currently work as a government contractor training DoD leadership and unit staffs on Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities, processes and products.

My bachelor’s degrees are in Management Studies and Liberal Arts from University of Maryland and Excelsior College respectively. I am married and the proud father of two daughters, ages 27 and 25. My wife, also retired Army, and daughters are my inspiration
