Ray Allen Averaging 26.4 points per game, All-Star guard, one of the best three point shooters who ever shot a basketball… Ray Allen’s in his early life moved a lot, in his adult life he raised all 5 of his kids naming one of them after him, and he accomplished a lot in his NBA career and one of them was that he won an olympic gold medal in the summer of 2000 for the USA men’s basketball team.

Did you know, Ray Allen the third kid of five children, was born In Merced California at the hospital Castle Air Force Base. Ray Allen’s parents are named Walter and Flora Allen. Ray Allen, a military child, grew up in Europe. After years of constantly moving and traveling they finally moved to Dalzell, South Carolina. He spent four years of high school there. When he first got there he was known as the odd kid, he was often picked on for him language. While, he never really fit in with any of the kids his gift of hard work allowed him to accede in many sports. After his growth spurt he started to focus on basketball. He practiced as long as he could every day. By the age of 15 he was playing basketball for Hillcrest College Varsity team starting and leading the team to their first state championship game. He grew up to play in the NBA. He was first drafted to the Milwaukee Bucks. He played a few years there averaging 19.7 ppg in all of his years 7 in Milwaukee. Then he went on to play for the supersonics averaging 25 ppg in all of his 5 years in Seattle. After Seattle he played for the Celtics where he average only 17 ppg in Boston. Then he went on to play for the Heat and averaged only 11 ppg in Miami. He then retired after the two years in Miami to raise his children, Wynn, Wynstan, Walter III, Walker, and Tierra Allen.
