Raw Vegan Diet The Raw Vegan diet can cause children and adults to have significant health risks. Some of the health risks include, pinched cheeks, a swollen belly, and decayed teeth. These health risks are due to the raw elements required in this diet. For example, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, soy and pulses are the most common elements in the Raw diet. Although these foods are needed for proper growth, everything is good in moderation. The human body relies on red meat and fish for protein. So without these important food groups, your body takes in too much starch and acids. These actions will results in a lack of nutrients, and necessary proteins.
